Calligraphy for Kids (Parents, too!)

2015 Pt Loma Library 1April 2015 is “Month of the Military Child,” and SDFC is pleased to join the Point Loma Library in honoring our military families in the library’s Community Room.

The San Diego Fellow Calligraphers will have fun play-days on three Saturdays: March 28, April 11, and April 25 from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Among the activities will be handwriting demos, decorating bookmarks, handmade cards and envelopes, and a make'n'take simple book. Kids and parents are welcome. Downstairs in the library you’ll find papercrafts, handwriting and lettering. Kids can make cards/envelopes for family and friends as well as mail for any loved ones deployed away from home.

Questions?  Can you volunteer? Contact Wendy Telford: publicity@sdfconline.com.
