with Connie Furgason

On October 5 & 6, 2017, guest instructor Connie Furgason offered great information about her illustration and watercolor techniques. Many of Connie's tips were useful, simple-to-do techniques that enhanced and helped to create depth in our artwork. Connie suggested we work on a few pieces at the same time so when one is drying, we can work on the next piece. Connie advised participants to “leave enough air” (white space) in our pieces, and she showed us how gesso can create contrast and texture.

Many were pleased they had a chance to try a variety of wonderful ideas and suggestions. One participant was “so inspired creatively” she will implement much of what Connie taught in her own artwork.
