The Art of Making Greeting Cards
Guest presenters from our own membership

Our first general meeting of 2005 was a real fun hands on experience as we practiced new techniques in the art of making greeting cards. Clear instructions were provided by Sylver Kinsella and Pat Sunda (even though Pat was unable to come). President Diane Reiter’s idea of enclosing the cards in plastic sleeves gave them a very professional, “store bought” look. The valentines and other cards made this evening were given to patients at San Diego Children's Hospital. Of course, refreshments, sharing, and conversation were an important part of the evening.

Some gorgeous cards were created by our talented members. Pat Sunda  provided us with everything needed to complete two more cards - talk about overachieving - she had everything we needed in individual baggies. Between Sylver’s “swing” card and Pat’s pieces, we just added glue and some creativity: voila, masterpieces!
